Error description

• FTP Enterprise FTP stage fails when wildcards are used to
  mainframe ftp server. The error is:
  
  ftp://T1000L3/'DSNAT1.NAT*' fails with main_program: Fatal
  Error: When
  extracting a substring, offset must be non-negative.

  What are the wildcards that are supported using the ftp
  enterprise stage to the mainframe?

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install the patch. this issue is fixed in Information Server 81
  Fix Pack 1

Problem conclusion

• Wiladcard "*" is supported, when we have  MVS FTP Server as
    the remote ftp server and the files are named as the MVS
  DatasetNaming Convention
