JR32677: THE DROP DOWN LIST OF THE DATASTAGE DESIGNER CLIENT DOES NOT COMPLETELY DISPLAY PROJECTS.

Error description

• The  DataStage Designer and Director clients do not display
  full project names in the login dialog drop-down list, due to a
  long fully qualified server name. Project names are being cut
  off making project selection difficult. Developers cannot
  identify  projects correctly due to part of the name not being
  visible in the list.

  to projects on servers with long host names and/or where the
  project itself also has a long name

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When you drop-down the list of available projects from the
  Designer or Director login dialog, part of the overall project
  name (which is composed of the server name plus the project
  name, separated by a backslash) is truncated on the right.
  Consequently you may not be able to distinguish between
  projectswhich only differ by characters at the end of their
  names.

  Install client-side patch JR32677
  This change is included in 8.1 FP1

Problem conclusion

• Change the login dialog so that it is horizontally resizable,
  and the controls stretch with it. The size chosen is remembered
  between invocations.
