Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Aggregator/Sort Stage for IS 8.1 AIX
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Decimals and numeric's cause abort in Aggregator stage and sort
  returns "-Infinity"
  
  Customer upgraded from DS 7.5.x to DS 8.1 and are experiencing a
  few issues on 8.1 that did not exist on the 7.5.x:
  
  The Sort/Aggregator doesn't appear to handle Decimals/Numeric,
  the:
  
  1 - Aggregator terminate's abnormally, and
  2 - Sort stage outputs "-Infinity" instead of the input values
  sorted correctly.
  
  Other data types, integer, float, double, work without
  issue.
  
  DataStage 8.1 on AIX 5.3, interesting case here is that the
  customer only as Server canvas, they do not have a PX canvas.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply the patch provided and run the jobs
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The issue was a DSCAPI issue. Issue is now resolved using the
  latest code from the branches.
