Error description

• StringIndexOutOfBoundsException when generating a DataStage  job
  from a mapping specification that has an expression with a
  variable or column  that is used multiple time.

  times which are further prefixed with table names

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When input columns are prefixed with table names and are used
  multiple times within a single expression (transformation
  function or filter definition) Job generation will fail.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply patch JR32164
  Fixed in Information Server 81 FP1.

Problem conclusion

• Resolution was to correct the expression parser component that
  is located on the FT server side.
  Fixed in Information Server 81 FP1.
