JR31954: ISSUE WITH I/P LINK ORDER TO THE LOOKUP STAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem is that originally the stream input had to be laid
  down first and was thus first in the list of links. However it
  is now possible to lay down the reference link first. Just
  convert the first input link to a reference link and lay down a
  new stream link.
  
  
  
  The problem also manifests itself as incorrect information in
  the director monitor, which interestingly does not differentiate
  between primary and reference lookup irrespective of the order
  the job is assembled.

  Depending on the order in which PxLookup stage inputs llinks
  arecreated the reported row counts for reference links may be
    incorrectly reported. The first link was incorrectly assumed
  to be the stream input and the stream input's row count is used
  forall reference links.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  apply patch and re-compile jobs that exhibit the problem.
  This change is included in 8.1 FP1

Problem conclusion

• Changed Job compiler to ensure that stream input is first input.
