JR31756: CANNOT IMPORT ROUTINES IN INFORMATION SERVER 8.1

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Cannot import routines in Information Server 8.1 with
  server-only licence.
  
  Error is "1 work server object, container shared, routine or
  
  stagetype ignored"
  
  
  Export works fine and generates a dsx file.
  

Local fix

• Apply patch for JR31326
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Users with a server-only licence. Users with parallel licences
  are unaffected.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Attempts to import server routines on the 8.1 client
  (dscmdimport commandline and Designer client) get the
  error:"<n> work server object, container shared, routine or
    stagetypes ignored". The server routines are not imported
  into  the repository.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Apply version 8.1 patch JR31326, to version 8.1 release only.
  This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1.

Problem conclusion

• Resolution was to correct the licence-type checking in the
  client import code.
