Local fix

Problem summary

  • Users affected: Users who use the .NET provider

Problem Description: Some development tools allow to
interactively build connection strings. Part of this process
implies the retrieval of the complete list of parameters the
.NET provider recognizes. While the parameter names are all
successfully retrieved the tool may fail with the exception
described, when looking for the description of the
parameters listed in the error description.

Problem Summary: As same as APAR abstract.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was first fixed in Version 9.5 Fix Pack 4
At a minimum, this fix should be applied on the client.
