JR31623: SP STAGE IS GENERATING AN EXTRA ROW, ALL BLANK/NULL/0 VALUES (DEPENDING ON TYPE)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Job has a stored procedure stage reading from MS SQL Server, to
  a Transformer Stage, and writing to DB2 through a DB2 UDB stage.
   The log shows 535 rows are processed, yet 536 rows end up in
  the DB2 target database, with the extra one consisting of all
  blank/null/0 values, depending on datatype.

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been corrected not to send an extra row unless the
  user has selected "Procedure Status to link" check-box
