JR31394: MATCH RESULTS IN 3.X TO 8.X ARE INVALID, TOO MANY MATCH IN 8.0.1

Error description

• Solaris 10 Fixpack 1a.
  
  
   During the comparison of match results from Integrity 3.11 and
  
  QualityStage we found different results, being:
   1) Different results: all the 153 matches from 3.11 are
  contained in
  the 586 matches from 8.0.1.
   2) "New" matches: I took a closer look in the Match Designer a
  some of
  the new matches, and I found something that seems to be a bug.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Matching from pass 2 should have occurred in pass1.  Records
  that were not matches in first attempt were rerun and found to
  be matches in a second attempt, using the first attempt's
  matching specifications.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  This issue is fixed in Information Server 8.1 Fix Pack 1
  Apply the APAR patch
