Error description
The errors usually occur when the Microsoft SQL Server wrapper creates nickname and collects the statistics information of its columns. This is because if no index or statistics collection is found with the specified target, the remote Microsoft SQL Server will report an error "Could not locate statistics ..." and a message "DBCC execution completed..." when calling "DBCC SHOW_STATISTICS ( table , target )" Please see the details at the following link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa258821(SQL.80).aspx You may get the following errors in db2diag.log. ... 2008-11-17-16.34.51.515000-360 I9429H548 LEVEL: Error PID : 2320 TID : 4792 PROC : db2syscs.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 DB : CCSQLSVR APPHDL : 0-2092 APPID: *LOCAL.DB2.081117223458 AUTHID : SVCITCINS1 EDUID : 4792 EDUNAME: db2agent (CCSQLSVR) 0 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, mssql wrapper, Mssql_Server::get_error_info, probe:6 MESSAGE : ODBC sqlstate: DATA #1 : Hexdump, 10 bytes 0x6773F950 : 3432 3030 3000 D833 BA03 42000..3.. 2008-11-17-16.34.51.515000-360 I9979H1511 LEVEL: Error PID : 2320 TID : 4792 PROC : db2syscs.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 DB : CCSQLSVR APPHDL : 0-2092 APPID: *LOCAL.DB2.081117223458 AUTHID : SVCITCINS1 EDUID : 4792 EDUNAME: db2agent (CCSQLSVR) 0 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, mssql wrapper, Mssql_Server::get_error_info, probe:7 MESSAGE : ODBC error txt: DATA #1 : Hexdump, 218 bytes 0x66F8EEA0 : 5B4D 6963 726F 736F 6674 5D5B 4F44 4243 [Microsoft][ODBC 0x66F8EEB0 : 2053 514C 2053 6572 7665 7220 4472 6976 SQL Server Driv 0x66F8EEC0 : 6572 5D5B 5351 4C20 5365 7276 6572 5D43 er][SQL Server]C 0x66F8EED0 : 6F75 6C64 206E 6F74 206C 6F63 6174 6520 ould not locate 0x66F8EEE0 : 7374 6174 6973 7469 6373 2027 5355 424E statistics 'SUBN 0x66F8EEF0 : 414D 4527 2069 6E20 7468 6520 7379 7374 AME' in the syst 0x66F8EF00 : 656D 2063 6174 616C 6F67 732E 0000 0000 em catalogs..... 0x66F8EF10 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF20 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF30 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF40 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF50 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF60 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 0x66F8EF70 : 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 .......... ... 2008-11-17-16.34.51.546000-360 I13342H548 LEVEL: Error PID : 2320 TID : 4792 PROC : db2syscs.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 DB : CCSQLSVR APPHDL : 0-2092 APPID: *LOCAL.DB2.081117223458 AUTHID : SVCITCINS1 EDUID : 4792 EDUNAME: db2agent (CCSQLSVR) 0 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, mssql wrapper, Mssql_Server::get_error_info, probe:6 MESSAGE : ODBC sqlstate: DATA #1 : Hexdump, 10 bytes 0x6773F950 : 3031 3030 3000 D833 BA03 01000..3.. 2008-11-17-16.34.51.546000-360 I13892H1805 LEVEL: Error PID : 2320 TID : 4792 PROC : db2syscs.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 DB : CCSQLSVR APPHDL : 0-2092 APPID: *LOCAL.DB2.081117223458 AUTHID : SVCITCINS1 EDUID : 4792 EDUNAME: db2agent (CCSQLSVR) 0 FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, mssql wrapper, Mssql_Server::get_error_info, probe:7 MESSAGE : ODBC error txt: DATA #1 : Hexdump, 280 bytes 0x66F8EEA0 : 5B4D 6963 726F 736F 6674 5D5B 4F44 4243 [Microsoft][ODBC 0x66F8EEB0 : 2053 514C 2053 6572 7665 7220 4472 6976 SQL Server Driv 0x66F8EEC0 : 6572 5D5B 5351 4C20 5365 7276 6572 5D44 er][SQL Server]D 0x66F8EED0 : 4243 4320 6578 6563 7574 696F 6E20 636F BCC execution co 0x66F8EEE0 : 6D70 6C65 7465 642E 2049 6620 4442 4343 mpleted.
