JR30945: IS PATCH (E134074) INSTALL ERROR ON SOLARIS 5.10

Error description

• This issue is we got the following error (see attachment for
  more
  details) when applying this patch on Solaris as user "dsadm":

  But the file liborchsum4.so appears to exist in the expected
  location.

Local fix

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Patch Installation of 801 FixPak1 patch for CRM 52819,019,866
  on Solaris reported resource tracker startup error
  i.e Sep 15, 2008 12:29:34 PM , INFO: Error: sh: =: not found
  ld.so.1: resource_tracker: fatal: liborchsun4.so: open failed:
  No such  file or directory  Killed
  
  The PXengine surrogate key operator referenced from liborch had
  a fix which uses semaphore functions.
  On solaris semaphore functions have a dependency on the system
  librt.so library. The pxengine files on solaris were
  not linked with this library for the original 801 patch for CRM
  52819,019,866. Hence the above runtime issue occured at
  patch installation.

  RECOMMENDATION:
  Customers who reported this issue on solaris have been advised
  to install the repsun 801 fixpak1 solaris patch for
  Ecase 126559  at
  https://asc-eng-patch-01.usma.ibm.com/Patches/InformationServer/
  8.0.1/126559/patch_126559_pxengine_fp1_sun.tar . .

Problem conclusion

• The 801  pxengine maint branches is_8_0_1_fp1 and is_8_0_1_maint
  have been updated to have the Solaris
  library -lrt linked with the pxengine executables and libraries.
