Error description
After installing DB2 64-bit client,sqllib/lib does not contain db2cli.lib for 64 bit applications it is the 32 bit version You can encounter LNK2019 linker error when compiling/linking source of 64 bit programs The runtime client does not have this problem, as it does not provide the db2cli.lib file.
Local fix
Replace the db2cli.lib file in sqllib/lib directory of 64 bit client using db2cli.lib in sqllib/lib64 of 32 bit client
