Error description

• This is to fix issues in DataStage with HP NeoView specifically
  issues involving data truncation.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  ALL platforms. ODBC connecting to Neoview database
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Decimal data type length not correctly set for Neoview
  database.Apart from that Neoview driver does not conform exactly
  to ODBC 3.0 standard hence array processing was not happening
  correctly.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Install patch JR29367
  The fix has been included in the IS 8.1 FP1. Apply the FixPack1
  for IS 8.1.

Problem conclusion

• Corrected the length of decimal data type for Neoview database.
  Also corrected array processing.
