Error description

  • db2move Copy Schema can fail with SQL0440N for SPLs due to
    dependancy
    
    If you have a database that has a schema, which has 2 or more
    procedures, that
    have dependancy on each other.  If you then try to use the copy
    schema option
    in db2move you may received the following error:
    
      Type          : PROCEDURE
      Error Msg     : [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0440N  No
    authorized routine named "<Schema>.<Procedure>" of type
    "PROCEDURE" having compatible arguments was found.  LINE
    NUMBER=19.  SQLSTATE=42884
    

Local fix

  • Workaround: Create procedure after the db2move has completed.
