Error description
When creating a nickname for a BioRS databank, if the REMOTE_OBJECT option contains a name longer than 20 characters or if a column in a REFERENCED_OBJECT is over 20 characters, an SQL1882N error is returned. In the following example, "swissprot.features_002" will cause a failure. CREATE NICKNAME swissft ( ID CHAR (30) OPTIONS (ELEMENT_NAME '_ID_'), FtKey CHAR (15), FtLength CHAR (15), FtDescription CHAR (15), Parent CHAR (30) OPTIONS (REFERENCED_OBJECT 'swissprot'), AllText CHAR (15) ) FOR SERVER biors_server OPTIONS (REMOTE_OBJECT 'swissprot.features_002'); Using a long name in the REFERENCED_OBJECT column option will also cause an error. CREATE NICKNAME BIORS.CYGD_localizations ( ID VARCHAR (256) NOT NULL OPTIONS( IS_INDEXED 'Y', ELEMENT_NAME '_ID_' ), Parent VARCHAR (256) OPTIONS( REFERENCED_OBJECT 'CYGD' ), LocalizationMolecular VARCHAR (256), LocalizationSubCellular VARCHAR (256), LocalizationEvidence VARCHAR (256) ) FOR SERVER BIORS OPTIONS (ADD REMOTE_OBJECT 'CYGD.localizations' ) DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned: SQL1882N The "COLUMN" option "ELEMENT_NAME" cannot be set to "LOCALIZATIONMOLECULAR" for "LOCALIZATIONMOLECULAR". SQLSTATE=428EF
