APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • though 'test connection' task is working ok there is a problem

connecting to the defined VM managers regularly. In the logfiles
I can
see the follwing error:

Local fix

  • Provided

Problem summary

  • Configuring VM Manager which does not manage any VMs causes VMN
Manager task to fail. This incorrect behaviour was caused by
incorrect handling results from VM Manager by LMT/TAD4D server.

This applies only to VMware VM Managers.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for this issue will be included in the following
deliverable:
         | fix pack | 7.2.2.0-TIV-ILMT-TAD4D-FP0001

(Fix Pack 1 for 7.2.2 release)

Temporary fix

  • Remove the VM Manager that does not manage any VMs on the VM
Managers panel.
