* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* System crash due to unpinned eventlist in e_clear_wait().
* The problem can occur when applications are using timed
* ipc operations and the system is low on memory.
* The crash will have a stack trace similar to:

Problem conclusion


    

  • When we detect that we are issuing a timed operation on a
semaphore or message queue, we pin the waitlist anchors, and
then keep them pinned until the ipc object is deleted.
