Error description
The TEP Client is unable to display the initial values that caused an open situation to fire. The original situation event appears to have been erased from TEMS tables while it was still open.
Local fix
Add an environment variable to the KBBENV file to enlarge the situation status history file. The default size is 8192. KDS_SITLOGSIZE=xxxx, where xxxx = number of status records. Maximum is 32767.
Problem summary
When displaying "Situation Event Results" at the portal client, the initial situation values are empty. The situation event was replaced in the history table with another unrelated situation event.
Problem conclusion
Situation history now keeps "Y" events from being replaced until all other events have been replaced and they are the oldest record. The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance vehicle: | fix pack | 6.2.2-TIV-ITM-FP0007 | release | 6.2.3-TIV-ITM
