Error description

  • A NullReferenceException is thrown when deregistering an
    exception listener using the IBM Messaging Service Client for
    .NET (XMS). The exception is thrown within a MQCB call.

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    XMS .NET client sends the null object to the next layer(NMQI)
    and this layer tries to access this object which results in the
    null reference exception.
    

Problem conclusion

  • XMS .NET client code is modified to pass the default objects
    instead of null objects to the next layer (NMQI).
