APAR status

Error description

  • Execiting lsnfsexp as none root user fails after
updating to AIX 6.1 TL4 with
ksh: lsnfsexp: 0403-006 Execute permission denied.

Local fix

  • chmod 555 /usr/sbin/mknfsexp

Problem summary

  • Non-root users cannot run lsnfsexp.

Problem conclusion

  • Changed the permissions of mknfsexp and made code changes to
restrict non-root users from functions other than lsnfsexp.
