Error description
Scenario: . We want to provision Windows 2008 virtual servers using TSAM selfservice capabilities. We have prepared the Windows 2008 image following instructions in : . http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/tivihelp/v10r1/topic/ com.ibm.tsam.doc_7.2/rdp/t_prepare_os_image_vmware_win.html . We do not succeed to provision the image. One of the problems we observe is that cygwin is not installed correctly. When running manually postInstallAfter.bat script an empty cygwin installation is created (C:/cygwin/bin empty folder). . We have executed the installation interactivley using the same options used by the unattended installing, but removing the --quiet-mode option: . setup.exe --quiet-mode --root C:çcygwin --local-install --local-package-dir C:çtempçcygwinçrelease all . We observe all packages are with option skip, and we have to click them manually, one by one, to force them to install. It looks like the unattended installation is not working properly . Running the following command seems to resolve the problem: setup.exe --quiet-mode --root %SystemDrive%çcygwin --local-install --local-package-dir %PACKAGE_DIR%ç all -P cygrunsrv,openssh,openssl,tcp_wrappers,unzip,zip . Environment . Customer's version of Windows is: Windows/2008 R2 64 bit and cygwin version is version 2.573.2.3.
