APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem Details : (Maximo 7.1.1.6; O&G7.1.1.0)
    
    1. Create a Work Order
    2. Add 2 Tasks
    3. Select Predecessors for 2nd task
    4. Create a schedule that will select this Work Order
    5. Notice that both tasks start at the same time initially
    6. Perform Critical Path Method
    7. Now see that the tasks are staggered Finish to Start which
    changes
    the duration of the parent work order in Scheduler. You can see
    this by
    hovering over the work order summary bar and check the duration
    displayed in the tooltips
    8. Save and Commit the changes back to the work order
    
    9. The work order duration of the parent did not get updated and
    written
    back to the work order and the table is not updated
    
    If you now change the duration of one of the tasks by dragging
    the task
    in scheduler, This does update the duration of the parent work
    order
    when committed back to the work order.
