Error description

  • if CDPATH is set including "." i.e:
export CDPATH=.:/home:/usr/local
snapcore may fail to collect some libraries with a
message
similar to :
source for link /usr/lib/libC.a (/usr/lpp/xlC/lib/aix53)
is
not a file

Local fix

  • unset CDPATH before running the snapcore.

Problem summary

  • snapcore failed to capture all the libraries,
when CDPATH is set to  "."

Problem conclusion

  • unset the CDPATH in the Main portion of the script.
