Problem summary

• During upgrade of the portal server, the file jrelevel.js (in
  {CANDLEHOME}\HOME\CNB on Windows and {CANDLEHOME}/{ARCH}/cw on
  UNIX and Linux) was not being backed up and any custom setting
  was lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• Before upgrading files for the portal server, backup the
  jrelevel.js file and restore it after the portal server upgrade
  files have been copied.
  
  Install Actions
  
  This APAR is fixed on Windows in IBM Tivoli Monitoring
  v6.21.03.00. For non-Windows, and before this MDV, please take
  the following steps:
  
  Before the installation of the portal server, save the
  jrelevel.js file as a backup.
     Windows: CANDLEHOME}\HOME\CNB\jrelevel.js
     UNIX/Linux: {CANDLEHOME}/{ARCH}/cw/jrelevel.js
  
  After the install, check the file and see if you need to change
  the "var jreLevel=" line.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
  vehicle:

Temporary fix

• Save this file before the portal server is upgraded and restore
  it after the upgrade is complete.  The file can be found in the
  {CANDLEHOME}\HOME\CNB directory on Windows and in the
  {CANDLEHOME}/{ARCH}/cw directory on UNIX and Linux.
