Error description

  • Steps to replicate the issue in Maximo 7.1.1.5,Maxdemo database
    with Spanish as base language and English as additional
    language.
    
    - In the Maximo login page, select the language Español (it
    means Spanish)
    
    - Log into Maximo as wilson
    
    - Go to Assets > Locations  (Ir a Activos > Ubicaciones)
    
    - Click on New Location button, accept the default values and
    enter the info:
    Location (Ubicación) = LOC10
    Type (Tipo) = RECUPERACIÓN (it means SALVAGE)
    
    - Save the record
    
    - Go to Inventory > Issues&Transfers (Ir a Inventario >
    Despachos&Transferencias)
    
    - Search by CENTRAL Storeroom
    
    - From Issue (Despacho) tab, click on New Row (Fila Nueva)
    button, accept the default values and enter the info:
    Item (Parte) = 560-00
    
    - From Location (Ubicación) field, click on Detail Menu, select
    Go To, Locations (Ir a Ubicaciones)
    
    - From Location application, search by LOC10
    
    - With LOC10 on the screen, click on "Return with Value"
    ("Regresar con Valor")
    
    At this point, Maximo presents the message:
    BMXAA2662E - Ubicación LOC10 no es una ubicación válida. Sólo
    las ubicaciones de almacén, operativas, de reparación,
    recuperación y distribuidor son válidas.
    
    The issue is: in fact, the correct should be:
    BMXAA2662E - Ubicación LOC10 no es una ubicación válida. Sólo
    las ubicaciones de almacén, operativas, de reparación,
    y distribuidor son válidas.
