IZ73068: ATTACHED DOCUMENT WEB SITE ENDS UP WITH _WWW APPENDED TO ADDRESS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Attaching a Web Site type Attachment results in the address
  appearing with _WWW appended to the end of the address and
  causing the link to not work.
  
  Steps:
  
  1. Open any application (I used Work Order Tracking)
  
  2. Open any record and attach a new URL
  3. Now try to access the newly attached URL
  4. A new IE window will be opened and the URL typed on step 2
  will have
  a suffix of ?_WWW
  
  tested in 7.1.1.6 and 7.1.1.7 and happens in both
