APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a switch is rebooted, the interface will come as
normal. But when ping is run, it will not transmit any
data.
This can be check by trying to ping the broadcast
IP address and if the interface can not even receive
its own ping, this may be the issue this defect is trying
to fix.

  • This probem was fixed in 61H and 53V and up.
This is just to port the fix down to the older releases.
