APAR status

Error description

  • After multibos -M is completed and the AIX 6.1 standby
image
is booted, the filesystems between the active and standby
BOS
are not being synchronized. Missing mbverify entry in
/etc/inittab for the AIX 6.1 image.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The mbverify stanza will not be in /etc/inittab and logical
volumes could be out of sync with volume group after mksysb
restore.

  • Update /etc/inittab with mbverify stanza after the mksysb
restore of files.
