IZ66864: TADDM DOES NOT SUPPORT GATEWAY ON 64 BIT SYSTEMS

Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  In TADDM 7.2 install guide does not clearly document that
   TADDM Windows Gateway on 64 bit systems has limitations.
  
   The section related to TADDM Server Hardware requirement
   should be modified with additional information
  
  Errors seen:
  SessionSensor crashing with ""CTJTP1161E The application
  cannot establish the following WMI session:
  SessionClientException:
  CTJTP1232E The server cannot find a working gateway for the
  following target: <hostIP>."
  also
  TADDMTOOL.EXE crashing with "The application failed to
  initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate
  application."

Problem summary

• In TADDM 7.2 Installation Guide it is not cleary documented the
  level of support for TADDM Windows Gateway on 64 bit systems.
  

Problem conclusion

• With TADDM 7.2.0,  64 bit gateways will be supported with the
  following limitations;
    - we do not support discovering the 64 bit gateway itself
    - we do not currently support Cygwin 1.7.1 (see
  http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21419038)
  
  No publication updates will be made as these limitations should
  be eliminated in the next release.
