IZ56791: DISABLING AUDIT DISABLES IT AT THE ENGINE LEVEL BUT NOT THE PROCESS LEVEL. HEALTH MONITOR CONTINUES TO LOG AUDIT RECORDS.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If audit is disabled by running "db2audit stop" the Health
Monitor will continue to generate audit records.  This is
because db2audit stop stops auditing at the engine level.
Heatlh Monitor is treated as a process and the auditing is not
stopped at the process level.

Local fix

  • Restart the database.
