Error description

• Increase the default for MAX_PRED_VALUE_LENGTH
  Environment: itm 6.1, itm 6.2
  
  If 'compare time to time' or other complex function that
  disables filter object is used, the value of each parameter in
  the WHERE clause is limited to 64 characters. APAR to increase
  the default value of this parameter.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• If "compare time to time" or other complex function
  that disables a filter object is used, the value of each
  parameter in the WHERE clause is limited to 64 characters.
  
  The FILE_TREND.Watch_Directory(Unicode) is supposed to handle
  260 characters.
  

Problem conclusion

• Increase the default text predicate Size.
  
  To increase the default text predicate size, two types of text
  predicates will be supported:
  
  1.  A "standard" text predicate will be the current default text
  predicate size of 64 characters.
  
  2.  An "extended" text predicate will be the increased text
  predicate size of 2048 characters.
      Customer will need to install APAR IZ45531 fix for extended
  text predicate.
  
  TEMS with APAR IZ45531 fix will process text standard and
  extended text predicates.
  Agents without APAR IZ45531 fix will only be sent standard text
  predicates.
  Agents with APAR IZ45531 fix will process standard and extended
  text predicates.
  
  The fix for this APAR will be included in the following
  maintenance vehicle:
