  Problem Description:
    During normal processing, abap dumps are created into sap
  system by the itm agent code.
  Agent logs also shows errors like :
  KSA0301  errmsg: -301 *** Failure on call to
  /IBMMON/ITM_WORK_PROCESSES
  KSA0301  errmsg:  RFC ERROR SNAPSHOT at 11:42:46 on 01/13/2009
  KSA0301  errmsg:    Parameter 1    : |HOT-BRR044G1_HOT_00:Ins
  KSA0301  errmsg:    Error exception: SYSTEM_FAILURE
  KSA0301  errmsg:    Error key      : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
  While the ABAP dump also contains this meaningful information in
  the first
  pages:
  Runtime Errors         BCD_OVERFLOW
  Exception              CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW
  Overflow during an arithmetic operation (type P) in program
  "/IBMMON/SAPLITM6".
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ABAP dump due to DBREALTIME field overflow
    in the function module /IBMMON/ITM_WORK_PROCESSES
  

Problem conclusion

• ABAP dump "BCD_OVERFLOW" occurs when the data collection is
  requested for the attribute group R/3_Work_Process and the value
  of the attribute Database_Reads_Time exceeds
  

Temporary fix

• This APAR has been included in the 6.2.0-TIV-ITM_SAP-IF0006,
  it can be downloaded from ftp.software.ibm.com ftp site.
