Error description
A socket file descriptor leak causes the following MQIPT error: MQCPE017 The exception java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/mqipt/bin/../mqipt.conf (Too many open files) was thrown causing MQIPT to shut down

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users of MQIPT 2.0.0.1 who receive connection requests that disconnect without sending any data (such as a network pinger). Platforms affected: All Distributed (iSeries, all Unix and Windows) **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: When a connection request to MQIPT disconnected without sending any data the socket to the caller was not closed. This left the socket in a CLOSE_WAIT state. Not closing these sockets led to the FileNotFoundException (Too many open files).
Problem conclusion
