Error description
Maximo 6.2.1 Oracle websphere WIN WO Tracking - Plans/Materials - Can't Save Direct Issue for Item Not In Inventory (20080923-01): If a User enters a valid Item on the Plans/Materials tab of the WO Tracking app and flags it as Direct Issue, but the Item does not exist in any Storeroom (No Inventory records), message saying "Item {0} is on the work plan but not found in item." is raised when the user tries to save the record. This is a significant issue since the main reason for planning an Item for Direct Issue is because it is not an Inventory Item. Steps to replicate: Create a new Work Order. on the Plans/Materials subtab put a new Item that does not already exist in a storeroom Check the Direct Issue check-box. Try to save the Work Order. Error Message "Item {0} is on the work plan but not found in item."
