Local fix

  • Obtain test fix from TEC Level 3, although note that application
    of the test fix is not complete.  There is a side effect where
    the categories in the Navigator view are not correct.
    

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: All Tivoli Enterprise Console 3.9.0 users
    running the IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Tivoli Enterprise Console
    Agent version 3.9.0 or 3.9.1

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The TEPS support for the TEC Health and
    Performance Agent does not install when DB2 is version 9 on
    Windows. An error dialog is presented that indicates DB2 must
    be version 8.1 or greater.

Problem conclusion

  • A new ITM for TEC agent version 3.9.1 was packaged to correct
    this problem. This agent is a complete replacement of the
    previous ITM for TEC Agent version 3.9.1.
    
    The new ITM for TEC Agent version 3.9.1 is available in the Bill
    of Materials for TEC on Passport Advantage.
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    packages:
