Error description

  • If an error is encountered during insert/delete/update/select
through index, DB2 will attempt to dump out diagnostic
information. During the diagnostic dumping process, one of the
index data area may not be initialized properly. DB2 will
detect that such data area is uninitialized and avoid the dump
of any data from this data area. However, if two fields in this
data area contains large enough value, the addition of these
two fields which contains garbage value would cause wrap of an
integer, then DB2 may think that the fields are valid to dump.
If such situation occurs, DB2 may hit sig sev problem while
    attempting to dump these fields.
This problem is not pervasive and is very hard to hit.
    None.
