  • Environment:  AIX 5.3   ITM 5.1 5.1.3-TIV-ITM_ICS-IF0017
Problem Description:  ITMCS IF17 missing DependencyMgr
  itmcs_logmonitor_ilt2
  Customer receives the following error when trying to install
  IF0017:
+ wdepset -e @DependencyMgr:itmcs_logmonitor_ilt2 -a generic
generic/cmptsvcs/xerces.jar +p LCFNEW/ITM/PACS/endorsed +a
FRWTT0003E An instance named "itmcs_logmonitor_ilt2" of resource
"DependencyMgr" was not found.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Failed to check and create the new dependency set.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Updated the install script to check for the new dependency set
and also create it if not found.  Republished the MDV(5.1.3-TIV-
ITM_ICS-IF0017)
