Error description

  • Transaction level control blocks allocated from the database
    heap are not being recycled properly in a single partition
    environment when connection concentrator (max_connections >
    max_coordagents) and intra_parallel are enabled. This can lead
    to out of memory errors in the database heap.
    
    If DB2MEMDBG=FFDC is set then db2pd -db <dbname> -memb output
    will show that 4 different memory blocks are allocated the same
    large number of times.
    
    All memory consumers in Database memory set:

  • Set intra_parallel to no in the database manager configuration
    and restart DB2
