Error description

  • db2batch can core dump when using the -o p 5 option
    
    $db2batch -d sample -f sample.sql -o p 5 -r sample.out
    Segmentation Fault(coredump)
    
    Reproduction:
    
    db2sampl
    cat "select * from staff" > sample.sql
    db2batch -d sample -f sample.sql -o p 5 -r sample.out
    

Local fix

  • Do not use the -o p 5 when running db2batch command,
