IZ07349: ERROR AWSJCO026E IS SHOWED WHILE OPENING JOBSTREAM/JOB PROPERTIES SCREEN

APAR status

Error description

• Enviroment; JSC 8.3 FP03 connected to TWS 8.3 FP03
  
  
  Users with the ability to browse database object (DISPLAY
  authorization in the Security file) are unable to open the
  properties screen  for a job definition if double-click on the
  job listed in the jobs list screen.
  
  Error BJS3097E referring to error AWSJCO026E is displayed.
  and the users are sent back to jobs list screen.
  
  The same users are able to open the properties screen  for a
  jobstream definition if double-click on the jobstream listed in
  the jobstreams list screen, but the error BJS3097E referring to
  error AWSJCO026E is displayed anyway, before opening the
  properties screen in display mode.
  
  Error Message:
  
  AWSJCO026E User "TWS user" is not authorized to perform the
  action "MODIFY" on an object "object type" and key
  "object name".
  

Local fix

• open the job/jobstream properties screen with "right-click ->
  browse" selection on the job/jobstream to display
