APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A flaw in resolving the database name during restore has led
    us to incorrectly return the following error rather than
    a more accurate error message:
    SQL0901N The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe
    system error.
    Subsequent SQL statements can be processed. (Reason "DB Name
    specified
    matches the SPM Name. Please use a different name".)
    SQLSTATE=58004
    Incorrect and ambiguous error messages can be returned rather
    than the correct error.
    Examine the DB2 Diagnostic Log for additional error
    information.
