    redefineclasses.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Hot code replace can cause the program to start throwing
    exceptions like IllegalAccessError and
    IncompatibleClassChangeError.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR6
    .
    The JVM and GC have been updated to prevent crashes occurring
    when classes are redefined.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20070720 or later
