APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ENV:
  WebSEAL 6.0.0.3 on AIX V5.3 (recreated on 6.0.0.6 on AIX)
  
  DESCRIPTION:
  A line (which length is 511 bytes) of request.log is
  concatenated with next line.
  
  This is very rare case but sometimes a line of request.log seems
  to be concatenated with next line.
  This is related with number of characters on one line.
  If the length of one line of request log is 511 bytes, the
  trailing CR seems to be missing.
  
  RECREATION STEPS:
  I recreated this issue with following command

  Please modify above request if someone try to recreate. The
  request log will be different because it is contain client ip
  address.
  
  I also checked with "absolute-uri-in-request-log=yes", however
  this issue is still observed.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• If a line is to be logged in request.log file i
  s just 512 characters it is concatenated with the next line in t
  he log; it does not contain a new line.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is expected to be cont
  ained in the following maintenance delivery vehicles:
