APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When running in static match mode, the capture file is read and
parsed each time a connection is made. The larger the capture
file the more it impacts the performance of connections.

Legacy JDBC Type 2 applications may suffer most as all
connections in a mult-threaded Java environmenr are serialized
(in Java).

Local fix

  • Avoid large capture files or do not run with static mode CLI.
