Error description

  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
Explorer V5.4.0.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • - In the Policy Editor when you click on a problem in the
"Problems" view, the policy is opened in the "OVERVIEW" tab
giving no indication as to which rule is in error.
- Small cosmetic changes to the Event Binding schema export are
needed.
- There is not a context menu to create a policy from local
files and transaction classes.
- It was not possible to allow users to choose an EP Adapter or
adapter set from workspace/CICS system.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • - In the Policy editor, clicking on errors in the problems view
will now take you to the problem in most circumstances.
- Small cosmetic changes have been made to the Event Binding
schema export.
- A context menu has been added to allow the creation of a
policy from local files and transaction classes.
- Support has been added to allow users to choose an EP Adapter
or adapter set from workspace/CICS system.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.2 of the CICS
Explorer.
