  • If we compile a program with O_NOFOLLOW flag for open in AIX71
and run the same program without recompilation in AIX72 it will
fail.

Vice versa is also true.

If we compile a program with O_NOFOLLOW flag for open in AIX72
and run the same program without recompilation in AIX71 it will
fail.
