APAR status

Error description

  • Error 124 due to a mismatch in the file system version
and build version:

[E] AFM: RemoteCmd file system <fs> fileset <fileset>
file IDs [-1.-1.-1.-1,N] name <name> local error 124

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Recovery and failover snapshot deletes give err 124 if
mmafmconfig command is not run for the target fileset at
home with 4.2 builds with fs version less than 4.1.1.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Recovery and failover snapshots are local to cache.The
snapshot deletes for these should not happen over at home.
