IV88889: RADIO BUTTON CONTROL NOT WORKING PROPERLY IN APPLICATION DESIGNER FOR 7.6.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When trying to add the radio button group as the client did in
  7.5.  I have found in my testing that when I drop the radio
  button
  control in PR (clone) then I am unable to add the buttons
  to the group.
  the PRLINE object the buttons added to the group
  disappear.  I followed the same steps in 7.5.0.9. and I had no
  issues.
  1. Find a Maximo environment running 7.6.0.3
  2. Log in using your credentials
  3. once logged in to Maximo you should be on the start center
  page.
  4. open the go to drop down (or if using a different skin) use
  the menu on the left hand side to location the Application
  Designer application ( The application designer application is
  where you can edit your Maximo screens).
  5. Bring up the application you would like to customize. ( In
  our case we will be using the PR application).
  6. Once the application opens go to the select action drop down
  (this is located up in the toolbar). Once this is open select
  duplicate application.
  7.  Once you select duplicate the application it will ask you
  for a name of the new application (at this point you can name
  the duplicate (clone) app anything you would like.
  8. Save record / application
  9. From the toolbar select the control palette icon (it looks
  like a box of other little boxes).
  10. Once open look for RADIO BUTTON CONTROL.
  11. Drag the RADIO BUTTON CONTROL on to the prline tab screen
  of your newly duplicated / cloned application.
  12.  No that you have the RADIO BUTTON CONTROL in place now try
  and add the RADIO BUTTONS to the CONTROL ( the RADIO BUTTONS
  can also be found in the control palette as well.).
  13. When you try and drag the RADIO BUTTON into the RADIO
  BUTTON CONTROL they "DISAPPEAR"....
  Steps are to clone the PRlines app.
  Add a radio button control in AD (main page)
  then try and add the radio buttons to the control and they
  disappear.
