-Log in to maxdemo instance as wilson -Go To Administration | Organizations -In the Organization field enter "eaglena" and press Enter -Click EAGLENA to open it -Click on the row to highlight BEDFORD -More Actions | Inventory Options | Inventory Defaults -In the Negative Balance Options section verify that the radio buttons are selected for: Disallow Negative Balance Disallow Negative Available Balance -Save the record -More Actions | Work Order Options | Site Options -Click on the row to highlight BEDFORD -Uncheck the checkbox for "Ignore storeroom availability for work order status?" -Click OK -Save the record -If any of these options were updated, sign out and sign back in -Go To Applications | Inventory | Item Master -Click the New Item button on the toolbar -In the Item field enter "TEST-1" -In the Order Unit field enter "each" and tab out -In the Issue Unit field enter "each" and tab out -Save the record -More Actions | Add Items to Storeroom -In the Storeroom field enter "central" and tab out -Click OK -In the Issue Cost Type field | Select Value | click FIFO -In the Unit Cost field enter 10 -In the Current Balance field enter 1 -Click OK -Common Actions | Change Status -In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click Active -Check the checkbox for "Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory" -Click OK -Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking -Click the New Work Order button on the toolbar -In the Location field enter "br200" and tab out -In the Work Type field | Select Value | click CM -On the Plans tab | Materials tab | click the New Row button -In the Item field enter the item number that you identified in an earlier step and tab out -In the Storeroom field enter "central" and tab out -In the Quantity field update the value to 2 -Save the record -Click the Change Status button on the toolbar -In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click Approved -Click OK *Observe that Work Order Status updates to WMATL -On the Actuals tab | Materials tab | click the Select Reserved Items button -Click the checkbox for the item then click OK -Expand the details for the row -In the GL Debit Account field | Select Value -Click 200, then click OK -Save the record *Expected System Message appears indicating that the balance will become negative -Click OK -Click the trash can icon on the row for the Material (delete); *Observe that the Quantity updates to 1 -Save the record *The quantity of 1 is saved, and therefore issued *If the trashcan icon button is clicked again to delete the row, error message appears: "BMXAA1872E - A material issue/return transaction cannot be deleted" *If the above procedure is performed with an Item that has an Issue Cost Type of AVERAGE, then the row can be deleted
