APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customers can sometimes experience High Availability consoles
    that hang during the QRadar patching process, or fail post
    patch with a status of 'unknown' in the User Interface.
    This situation is caused by the patch requesting a password for
    the Secondary.
    When this occurs, ssh from the Primary to the Secondary is not
    posible as it requires the root user password.
    The 'from=' entry in /root/.ssh/authorized_keys appears similar
    to the following (containing the 'from' for crossover
    interfaces only):
    from="169.254.1.2,169.254.1.1" ssh-rsa XXXXXXXXX
    

Local fix

  • Contact Support for a possible workaround that might address
    this issue in some instances.
